Good Samaritan College Ranked by Nursing Schools Almanac

Posted on: December 23rd, 2020 by Good Sam

Good Samaritan College of Nursing & Health Science has been ranked No. 29 on the list of Best Nursing Schools in Ohio by Nursing Schools Almanac.

The rankings are based on the institution’s academic prestige and perceived value, breadth and depth of nursing programs offered, and student success, particularly on the NCLEX licensure examination. Data was collected from more than 3,000 institutions, and less than 35% made the final list of the best nursing schools in the nation.

Nursing Schools Almanac stated, “GSC offers an ADN program with both traditional entry and LPN advanced placement, as well as an RN-to-BSN program. The ADN curriculum provides a background in the principles of nursing; the biological, physical, and behavioral sciences; and the liberal arts. Good Samaritan College produces approximately 100 ADN graduates each year, with a solid 85% first-time pass rate on the NCLEX exam since 2012.”
