Admissions to the Associate of Applied Science in Nursing (AASN) Program

AASN Program

Students seeking admission to the AASN program must complete specific selective enrollment requirements. The AASN program offers fall, spring and summer start dates.

Requirements for AASN Admission Process

  1. Acceptance to the college.
  2. High School GPA or Cumulative College GPA of 2.5 or higher or successfully completed GED with minimum scores of 2250 and 410 in each section.
  3. Minimum Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) composite score of 58.7.

We also accept transcripts electronically from official transcript providers (ie. National Student Clearinghouse, Parchment or eScript).  Foreign transcripts must be translated through WES or equivalent.

Hospital

The Good Samaritan College campus is located in Good Samaritan Hospital, part of the TriHealth medical system.

Student

Our students practice their medical skills in our nationally-recognized Simulation and Skills Lab.

Faculty

Study under faculty with doctorate degrees in their field.
