Student Government Association [SGA] represents the students of Good Samaritan College of Nursing & Health Science both in the internal and external community and acts as the instrument through which students are able to provide input into the internal policies of GSC. SGA has the authority to represent the students of GSC through the election of Student Representatives. SGA’s objectives are to promote a form of student government that includes collaboration and communication with GSC administration, provides students a forum for student issues, offers the opportunity for leadership development in the individual, and promotes social, cultural, educational, and recreational activities for students of GSC. There are SGA officers, representatives, and faculty advisors for each program and AASN course who serve as the SGA board. SGA also oversees the Student Diversity Advisory Council (DAC).
