Many resources are available to support students and GSC and TriHealth offer many types of organizations for those interested in rounding out their college experience.


Sigma Theta Tau is an international nursing honor society which recognizes academic excellence in BSN graduates and students in graduate nursing programs. The mission of the organization is to advance world health and celebrate nursing excellence in scholarship, leadership, and service. Eligible students for induction into the society must have a grade point average of 3.50 and/or rank in the top 35% of their graduating class. The Omicron Omicron Chapter based in Cincinnati is comprised of board members, faculty, graduates, and alumni from Xavier University, The College of Mt. St. Joseph, and Good Samaritan College of Nursing and Health Science.

OADN Alpha Delta Nu Nursing Honor Society recognizes the academic excellence of students in the study of Associate Degree Nursing. The Society encourages the pursuit of advanced degrees in the profession of nursing as well as continuing education as a life-long professional responsibility. Additionally, the society participates in the recruitment of qualified individuals into the profession of nursing.

Men’s Resource Group encourages students to work together to grow in the nursing profession.

Multicultural Student Resource Group provides a nurturing environment fostering success and completion of the programs for Multicultural students.

Student Government Association [SGA] helps to support and advance the mission of GSC, by representing the student voice that enhances the student experience. It encourages extracurricular activities and community service projects.


The Good Samaritan College campus is located in Good Samaritan Hospital, part of the TriHealth medical system.


Our students practice their medical skills in our nationally-recognized Simulation and Skills Lab.
