Transferring To GSC

Transfer Credit

Good Samaritan College of Nursing and Health Science acknowledges that courses taken at other postsecondary institutions may qualify for transfer. However, GSC reserves the right to determine the acceptability of transfer credits in accord with its mission and goals.

Credit by Examination

Good Samaritan College of Nursing and Health Science also grants credit on a limited basis for the College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) of the College Entrance Examination Board. Students must meet the American Council on Education's (ACE) recommended credit-granting scores in order to earn the credit. If the CLEP score is below the recommended score, the student may not retake the CLEP for credit.

Advanced Placement

Good Samaritan College grants advanced placement and college credit to entering students who have earned a score of 3 or better (in health-related courses) on the College Advance Placement Examination from the College Entrance Examination Board.

Transfer Module

The Articulation and Transfer Module Guidelines of the Ohio Board of Regents provide a template for students to acquire foundational learning experiences that Will assure their ability to succeed in upperdivision course work. Each college and university in the state of Ohio establishes a transfer module, which identifies the general education requirements of the institution.
