Strategic Plan

Purpose

Good Samaritan College of Nursing and Health Science was formed for the purpose of preparing men and women for careers in nursing and other health-related educational programs in a Christian environment. The Board of Trustees reaffirmed and approved the Mission, College Goals, and Vision in 2012 and established this strategic plan.

This Plan is based on the Baldrige National Quality Program Education Criteria for Performance Excellence. There are seven Priorities which guide Strategies for each academic (fiscal) year. Key Performance Indicators specify the rationale, data/information source(s), measure(s), and target(s) for those Strategies.

Strategic Planning

Imagining GSC for:

  • Program development that enriches and strengthens academics of the college.
  • Resource management to advance the mission, vision, goals, and strategic priorities of the college.
  • Learning experience to produce talented, knowledgeable graduates.
  • Technology support that strengthens academics and student learning.
