are purchased by students from available companies in the area.


Adjustment of Fees
is made according to the schedule in the catalog and based on the date of the exit interview with the Registrar or Assistant Registrar of the College. A student who withdraws prior to the beginning of a semester will receive a 100% refund of tuition and refundable fees identified in this schedule.



Refunds

Adjustments for tuition and refundable fees are based on the date that written notification is received at GSC. Students who wish to withdraw from a course must complete a Change of Status form. No refunds are granted for withdrawal from classes after the end of the eighth week for fall and spring semesters, or after the end of the third week during summer sessions. Students who leave GSC without notification forfeit all rights to refund or reduction of an account. Any outstanding financial obligations to GSC will be deducted from refunds. Refunds are issued according to this schedule:


Refunds for Fall and Spring Sessions:

On the first day of classes – 100% refunded
Up to the end of 2nd week – 90% refunded
Up to the end of 4th week – 50% refunded
Up to the end of 8th week – 25% refunded
After the 8th week – No refund

Refunds for Summer Session::

On the first day of classes – 100% refunded
Up to the end of the 1st week – 90% refunded
Up to the end of the 2nd week – 50% refunded
Up to the end of the 3rd week – 25% refunded
After the 3rd week – No refund

Students who withdraw from all classes prior to completing more than 60% of a semester will have their eligibility for financial aid recalculated based on the percentage of the semester completed.

The Good Samaritan College of Nursing and Health Science adheres to the Federal Refund Policy for all students who receive Title IV Federal Funds. These policies are outlined in the Federal Regulation and can be obtained in the student handbook or on a copy from the Financial Aid Office.
